SwapShop Warwick Bass. The neck was a surplus to requirement fretless and the body is from a Rockbass Streamer. Thanks to Warwick`s extensive use of CNC technology, this was a simple conversion - the existing screw holes in the neck were filled before aligning and redrilling to fit the new body.
This Strat-ish guitar started life as a Burswood (£50.00 from Asda complete with 10watt amp, bag, stand, spare strings etc). The setup of this guitar was perfect (more than can be said for many famous American guitars that sell for more than 20 times the cost of this one)!
This guitar was personalised with an aftermarket fantasy scratchplate cut to accept the bridge position EMG Select humbucker. Two high output single coil pickups were also added and the wiring was changed to a coil-tap on the EMG and 3 volume pots - one for each pickup. The finishing touch was to name it AsdaCaster and print off a waterslide decal for the headstock.
